Pelle is one of the great artist personalities in post-war Finland. Although he was in his own way bringing punk to this country, he managed to channel his ambition to a career of an author and a troubadour. He
lives a part of the year abroad, but always comes back to Finland to make his observations about the local everyday reality.
A mythical figure, who still has a lot of creative energy, although he had his biggest hits in the times when there were only two channels on the Finnish TV and the dictator was called Kekkonen. He joined the Stupido roster in 2004 – with a noteworthy back catalogue on other labels.
Pelle performs live alternately by himself, with his latest band Rockers or with his legendary line-ups from the past.
